Terms and Conditions

Activity Consent

As part of our training program, TechnoBudz will be conducting Coding / Robotics / Electronics session(s) / workshop(s) where students may be trained on Computers, Robotics, Internet of Things, programming and other related topics.

Depending on the program, activities may consist of Theory and Practical sessions where students may require to handle Computer / Robotic / Electronic equipment. It is hereby understood by the parent / guardian that TechnoBudz program is not liable for any of the mishappenings which may arise out of the program which includes but not limited to children using general electronics or other relevant equipment in a wrong or unadvised fashion. The program and our team are also not liable for any of the student’s activities which he / she conducts in an unlikely inappropriate event during any supervised / non supervised time in or out of the class. It is fully the parent’s responsibility to educate the student about the potential disadvantages or security issues of handling computer / electronic equipment without adult supervision. 

By registering for the workshop it is expected that the parent / guardian has read and understood this non liability note fully and agree that TechnoBudz team or program cannot be held responsible for any of the unlikely events which may result in danger / trauma / accident to your child. 

Child photo / video consent 

We take photos / videos of our workshops and this may include photographs and / or videos of your child. By registering for the workshop you are granting full rights to use the images resulting from the photography / video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for social media sharing purpose to help achieve our group’s aims.

Student Pick-up and Drop-off Procedure

  • Only the registered parent would be allowed to collect the child after class unless informed otherwise prior to the workshop commencement.
  • Parents are required to use the sign-in and sign-out sheet at the time of pick-up and drop-off.
  • If a child is going to be returning home unaccompanied by the parent, you are required to notify the staff via email. ([email protected])

Late Arrival/Early Departure Procedure

  • Students departing the workshop before end time are considered early departures. If students are required to leave early, the parents are required to notify the staff prior to collecting the student. Parents can contact the staff via telephone (0467474749) or in person while dropping off students in the morning.
  • Parents are required to complete an ‘Early Departure Form’ stating the collection time, reason for departure and signature.
  • Only the registered parent is allowed to collect the student unless informed otherwise prior to the workshop commencement.
  • The parents ID card needs to be checked and verified by the instructor before the child is allowed to leave the class.
  • TTB expects that early departures are an unusual occurrence rather than a regular one. In accordance with the NSW Department of Education requirements, the Daily Attendance Register will be marked as PA (Partial Absence) for those students leaving early.

Cancellation Policy

  • Sessions booked with card payment can be cancelled within 5 working days before the class starts.
  • Sessions booked with NSW Creative Kids Voucher cannot be cancelled but a reschedule can be requested.
  • You can request a reschedule of the class within 2 working days before the first class of the term starts and we will try our best to accommodate that request. This is fully subject to the availability of spots in upcoming classes.
  • Please note that cancellation or reschedule requests which are received after the grace period cannot be accommodated.
  • We reserve the right to change or cancel workshops giving due notice to the parents prior to cancellation
